NWU Distance Learning: The NWU’s Unit for Distance Learning (UDL) is the second largest provider of open distance learning programmes in South Africa.

In addition, the unit delivers the University Preparatory Programme (UnivPrep ), a one-year programme for prospective students who do not meet the minimum requirements for degree studies.
